Versatile Device for the Study of Coupling Properties in Multifunctional Materials. Example: Ni-(Co)-Mn-In Heusler Materials

چکیده

We report on a versatile experimental setup for the study of electro-magneto-elasto-thermal coupling bulk materials having properties. The enables measurement stress and electrical resistivity in 80-450 K temperature range under controlled uniaxial pressure magnetic field up to 8 T. strong influence strain transport properties is shown Ni-Co-Mn-In Heusler single crystal material. Phase transformation, magnetostress field-induced phase elastocaloric effect can be estimated using this setup. This device very complementary studies focused modeling thermo-electro-magneto-mechanical behavior functional materials.
